Rush - Snakes & Arrows Live

Test for Echo  fue el ultimo albun atractivo a mi gusto de Rush en estudio.Pero me rehusaba a dejar de escucharlos por lo que significo la banda en el genero progresivo especialmente en el segmento heavy.

Comence a escuchar sus nuevos discos en vivo con poco entusiasmo y empiezo con "Rush in Rio", muy bueno porque dispone de 3 cds con muchos clasicos que para mi sorpresa sonaban exelentes con ese nuevo sonido metalero con el que hicieron el flojo Vapor Trails pero tiene un punto en contra, donde el publico se escucha mucho en casi todo el show aunque el sonido sea el mejor.

Luego le toco el turno a R30: 30th Anniversary World Tour: es un complemento del anterior porque tiene otros clasicos que no estan en el show de Rio pero cuenta con un sonido muy levemente inferior, (el cual te das cuenta si sos muy detallista) y contiene un material mas corto.

Y ahora si, viene con el que me quedo yo...Snakes & Arrows Live del año 2008 porque tambien contiene muchos clasicos y el publico no molesta tanto su escucha, aunque hay temas del nuevo disco Snakes &...que no me convencen del todo.La version en DVD es triple!

Rush - Different Stages (Live)

Different Stages es uno de los mejores trabajos en vivo editados por la banda Rush...luego durante la siguiente decada estarian por venir sonidos mas duros y metaleros.
Realizado en 1998 se trata de un albun triple en donde los primeros 2 discos tratan sobre las giras de "Test for Echo" (uno de los mas grandes discos de la decada de los 90 de Rush a mi gusto) y  "Counterparts"; recomiendo prestarle atencion al primer disco que trae una moderna y extensa version de la cancion 2112.
Por ultimo el disco 3 grabado en 1978 en Hammersmith Odeon (Londres) contiene entre otras canciones como "Xanadu" y "Cygnus X-1"(esta ultima por fin podemos escucharla en vivo aqui!).
